Jodi Snyder is an actor originally from Chicago, Illinois. As an infant, Jodi’s parents took her to the cinema to watch Madonna in the musical movie spectacular Evita. "Don’t Cry for Me Argentina" turned into her new lullaby and next stop was not Buenos Aires, but acting classes.
By age three, she began studying competitive figure skating, which she would pursue for the next sixteen years. She also trained in improv, sang in school choir, and performed in many community and high school theatre productions.
She later went on to Syracuse University to study musical theater. After being involved in various productions such as Spring Awakening, Bat Boy, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and Kiss Me Kate, Jodi graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and moved to New York City.
Since moving, Jodi has been involved in the musical Pete the Cat (Off-Broadway and National Tour), The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and is currently featured in the all-Yiddish version of Fiddler on the Roof Off-Broadway.
